Welcome to PARFUND
The Philippine Agrarian Reform Foundation for National Development, Inc. (PARFUND) is a non-stock, non-profit, private funding mechanism that supports programs and projects of small and emerging non-government organizations (NGOs) and peoples’ organization (POs) engaged in poverty reduction among rural communities in the Philippines.
PARFUND was established in 1993 from the convergence of efforts of key leaders in the Philippine agrarian reform movement to respond to the lack of funding to support and encourage grassroots initiatives for agrarian reform and rural development
Key leaders of the Philippines’ agrarian reform movement founded PARFUND on June 1993. It was established in response to the lack of a private funding facility for NGOs and POs that will focus on supporting initiatives in resource tenure and productivity improvement in the rural areas.
The founders of the organization were Antonio Ledesma, Mahar Mangahas, Romana delos Reyes, Sixto Roxas and Victor Tan
